WE'RE KICKING THINGS OFF IN...

A celebration of cross-cultural collaborative brewing!

Each year, the 8x8 Brewing Project pairs 8 breweries from Greater China with 8 breweries from a region around the world to brew 8 kick-ass collaboration beers. In 2017, our inaugural year, we invited a group of world-class breweries from the Pacific Northwest, one of the birthplaces of the modern craft beer movement.
This year we're turning our attention to the another side of the world, where there's an equally active craft brewing community: In 2018 we will be having our Chinese craft brewers team up with partners from Nordic countries, including Sweden, Denmark, Iceland, Norway and Estonia!
They have the summer to work together and prepare their collaboration brews. Then, on October 26 & 27, 2018, all 16 breweries will gather in Beijing to celebrate the release of their collaboration brews and pour them alongside many of their own beers at the 8x8 Festival.
All the brewers will be there in person so you'll have a chance to learn the stories behind what you're drinking - straight from the source!
