@ Portland, Oregon
Gather Around Beer. It was this notion of gathering with friends and family to enjoy a beverage, a meal and conversation that The Commons Brewery is rooted in. The Commons Brewery began in Mike Wright’s backyard garage as a nano brewery called ‘Beetje Brewery’, a Flemish term translating to ‘little bit’. In 2011, the garage project transformed into a production brewery and tasting room focused on brewing balanced, refreshing ales and lagers. The Commons is now located in Portland, Oregon’s Central Eastside Industrial District in a refurbished warehouse built in 1919, winning multiple medals at World Beer Cup, Great American Beer Festival, and most recently, Medium Brewery of the Year at the Oregon Beer Awards.
